V∆MPSP!RE

V∆MPSP!RE, winner of the Develteam 2013 game jam. We had 2 weeks to complete the project. Theme of the game jam was "create a game with more than one distinct type/genre of gameplay", so we chose one part shooter, one part stealth. Aesthetic inspired by Virtual Boy retro graphics.

Narrative: You are damsel kidnapped by the Vampire King. Break free -- escape his spire of horrors to gain your freedom!

Initially developed in Gamemaker, we created it for vertical touch-screen gameplay on mobile. Project was a successful challenge for us newbies, but a polished, follow-up release was never completed. Maybe one day...
